Carolyn Wheeler and her husband, Andrew, established Carolyn’s Communications in 1981, when she identified a need for an exceptional medical answering service for the metro Atlanta area. She attributes their success to an award-winning staff that provides a vital link between doctors, hospitals, and their patients.
Carolyn and Andrew have also donated their time and services to the Atlanta American Cancer Society, South Gwinnett Schools, Gwinnett United in Drug Education, Georgia Council on Child Abuse, Gwinnett Rape Crisis, Georgia Legislature, Gwinnett Department of Family and Children’s Services, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, United Way, National and Georgia Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton Mental Health Groups. They are also strong supporters of Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry.
Carolyn’s business and community accolades are numerous. She is a three-time finalist for the Small Business Person of the Year Award, as well as a finalist for the Chamber’s prestigious National Athena Award.
Carolyn and Andrew now reside in Oconee county, Georgia. They have enjoyed 46 years of wedded bliss, are members of Grace Fellowship, and have two children and seven beautiful grandchildren.
